Our Church Library is your resource center
The church's library has a variety of volumes covering many topics. The books will be arranged on the shelves in Dewey Decimal order so that items on similar topics will sit together. Eventually we plan to make an online catalog of our materials available to users. New books are added periodically so check often or watch for new titles listed online under "New Books."[hotlink] There are reference books for biblical studies as well as other religious topics. There are also general works on religion and theology, several versions of the Bible and other related works in the fields of sociology, psychology, elder, teen and family care and other social and health issues. In addition, we have some biographies, self-help guides, general works and some fiction. Materials are also available on videotapes and dvds for children as well as for adults. The library also offers storybooks for different ages of children including bible stories geared for their understanding.
Stop into the library located just off the Fellowship Hall, browse our collection and pick up something to read. The library is open on a self-serve basis anytime. Just sign out for the books that you take and return them in a timely manner. We also have a book exchange area where members may bring in "previously read" books and exchange them for something new.
The Library has six areas it supports: Educational Growth Needs of the Congregation Provision of Resource Materials for members' needs Stimulation and Encouragement of Reading by Members Provision of Books for Children's Reading Maintaining Materials in all Formats in Addition to Print Maintaining the Archives of Congregational Historical Materials
