In 2015, our congregation knew that it was time to identify and articulate our common mission. With an abundance of gifts and resources in our midst, we had been doing faithful ministry for generations. Still, communities evolve and times change. So we asked ourselves what God was calling us to now. A year later, we discerned our mission and vision.

It was a joy and relief to know that while the Holy Spirit might have gathered us together for different reasons, we were moving forward in the same direction. But how would we do that?

What does it look like for us to Proclaim, Welcome, and Serve? We are on that journey now.
Research

2016

Research to answer the question "How we were going to build into this future?"
Making a plan

2017

Plan for living into our mission was proposed to council and adopted.
Living the Plan
2018 - present
In 2018 we found an architect to work with us. Unfortunately the Napa fires changed that plan as the architect became too busy with rebuilding homes in that area

That same year, we partnered with the Kairos Foundation to conduct a listening study and find out what our financial capacity and challenges would be.
